About Baška
Located in the southeastern part of Krk Island, Baška is famous for Vela Plaža – a 1.8 km long pebble beach with gentle access to the sea, perfect for families. Surrounded by hills, the views are breathtaking.

Campsites and Accommodation
Baška has several large, fully equipped campsites with restrooms, restaurants, shops, children’s activities, and direct beach access. They are suitable for RVs, campervans, trailers, and tents. Some also offer comfortable air-conditioned summer cottages. In high season, driving into the center of Baška without a reservation for a campsite is prohibited – be sure to book in advance and carry your confirmation.
Practical Information
During the summer, Baška offers many accommodations, restaurants, and shops. Booking in advance is recommended. Paid parking is available (approx. €1.50–2.00/hour), as well as a large daily parking lot near the beach.
You can rent a bike, kayak, or boat, and join a cruise around the bay.
Getting There
Krk Island is accessible via a bridge (free since 2020), and Baška is reachable via a well-maintained road. It is about 65 km from Rijeka and 40 km from Rijeka Airport.
